Oregon supporters, we need you to contact your legislators and give important testimony in support of Senate Joint Memorial 5! The memorial asks Oregon to support the global Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, and is part of a nation-wide push in urging the U.S. to join the treaty. With grassroots support, we can show the world that the U.S. is serious about ending the existential threat of nuclear war!

The memorial details the negative impacts of investing in nuclear weapons, including the financial trade-offs of spending Oregonians’ taxes on nuclear weapons instead of local needs like education, health care, and the environment.
