Israeli settler violence in the West Bank is heightening to lengths we have never seen before. There's been discourse on the internet as people call these attacks what they are: pogroms sanctioned by the state of Israel. Every day, Palestinians are facing their own special-made pogroms. Illegal Israeli settlers have been terrorizing Palestinians with no consequence whatsoever, because they are the state's agents in achieving Israel's long-term goal: a Palestine rid of Palestinians.
The West Bank Palestinian village of Qusra has been under siege by violent Israeli settlers and the Israeli military for two weeks now. For months, these settlers have been encroaching on homes and now have encircled the village. They have cut off water and electricity, blocked the roads, and prevented people from entering or exiting. One of the family members, Loui Ridi, is an Ohio state resident and dropped everything here in the States to go back to Palestine to protect his house and his family.
Ridi's representative, Marcy Kaptur, has been in touch with the family, as well as the State Department and the US Embassy. But given the urgency, she must do more.

Israel searches for any reason to reignite the most brutal genocidal campaign in Gaza, and now they are attempting to use children's kites to justify that. Let's stand in solidarity with the children of Palestine and fly our own peace kites, because all they want is peace, not more war!
👉🏼 Gallows are beginning to be built in Israel for Palestinian hangings. Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel's Security Minister, posted a video at a construction site in which gallows are to be built where Palestinians convicted of "terrorism" will be hanged. This is the aftermath of the execution bill being passed in the Israeli Knesset in March of this year. Palestinians are experiencing escalated violence and subjugation at the hands of fascist Israel, and the world cannot continue to merely spectate for much longer.

I truly never thought I would hear about gallows being built in Palestine. It's something you'd find in a medieval movie because of how deranged and twisted it is. Israel is truly descending into its rawest, purest form: a fascist state with death and destruction at the forefront of everything. Gallows shouldn't exist anywhere in this world; how come Israel is getting a free pass at it?
It's terrifying, in a sense, to know I have family there who will be subjected to such gruesome conditions. I think we are in a moment, now, where if we don't act, Israel will be able to bring its darkest desires to life. It's terrifying, but also empowering to know that Israel is trying too hard to cling to the power it has left. Why else would a state have to resort to complete totalitarianism to keep control of its people and the narrative? Because they are losing control every day, surely and slowly.
