CHICAGO! Join CODEPINK & Palestinian Feminist Collective (PFC) for a weekly reading circle where we'll examine and discuss "A Predatory State," PFC's historic new 200-page report documenting Israel's systematic use of gendered and sexual violence against Palestinians.
PFC is kicking things off at on August 12th at Pilsen Community Books (PCB) with a teach-in to introduce the report and findings. Then, over the next 6 weeks, we'll break down the report and study it in sections, meeting weekly at PCB to discuss the assigned section.
This report brings forth devastating evidence of the ways Israel violently dehumanizes Palestinians as a mechanism of domination and settler-colonial control. It must be read & shared widely. Let's join together to learn in community and allow these horrible truths to move us to action.
