June 22-25: #OffTheList Action Week

Washington DC. June 22 & 23:

On Thursday and Friday, June 22 & 23, we are organizing an Advocacy Day with ACERE and NNOC to lobby against the FORCE Act (HR 314 & S.538), a cruel, unjustifiable bill introduced by extreme-right Republicans which would codify into law Cuba’s “terrorist” designation.

Register below for the Advocacy Day if you’re interested in meeting with your Representative, and we’ll send you instructions on how to set up a meeting! (You can also meet with your local Congressional office if you can’t come to DC. - register it as a local activity!)

Take Action

Conservative Cuban-Americans are trying to pass a law that would codify Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism and prevent any president from removing it from the State Sponsors of Terrorist List. Tell your Representative they should vote NO on H.R. 314 and the Senate version S.538.

Take Action

A crucial policy of the Trump administration remains, and that is Cuba’s presence on the State Sponsors of Terrorism list.  It is critical to Cuba’s ability to pursue economic, trade and humanitarian activities that it be removed immediately from the list - a power well within Biden’s authority.  Please sign our petition to the White House calling for Cuba to be removed from the list.

Other ways to help

We have a chance to send powdered milk to ALL of Cuba’s 22 pediatric hospitals, providing one glass of milk a day to all these children for 3 months!!! Please help us. We call on people of goodwill all over the world, including Cubans living abroad, to show their solidarity with the hospitalized children of Cuba. We can’t let sanctions and hatred prevail; we must build bridges of love.
