📍Meet at the José de San Martín Monument 511 20th St NW, Washington, DC 20006 at 12 PM
- The active pre-rally starts at 12:00 PM and will be about 30 minutes long. Please join us for the pre-rally if you are able. Friends bussing from New York and other areas will meet us there.
- Following this, we will walk from the pre-rally area to the White House where participants will chant and sing along the way. Public call time for the action is 1:00 PM at the White House.
- Around 2:30pm leave to White House and march to TMC for anti-imperialist panel
The June 25 protest will be the culmination of a week of activities across the country, and will take place on the last weekend of the month. For over 2 years, many Cuba solidarity groups in the US and Canada have held car caravans or pickets at the end of the month, against the US blockade of Cuba, inspired by the Cuban-American led Bridges of Love/Puentes de Amor movement.
We are inviting supporters who can to come and join us in Washington, especially from cities close by, AND we are calling for local protests and activities across the country in support of the DC action. We want your voice included!
