24 years ago today, we started CODEPINK in the lead-up to the disastrous war in Iraq.

@codepinkalert We delivered a petition to the BBC signed by over 1,700 people to demand they correct the record and stop using Himalayan flood tragedy to spread misinformation about China. We need media accountability!

@codepinkalert "There is an elephant in the room that the Nature Conservancy won't address!" We just disrupted the Nature Conservancy at NYC Climate Week. With a budget over $2 billion, it is one of the largest conservation organizations in the world. Yet, they refuse to address one the greatest threats the Earth faces: U.S. warfare.

@codepinkalert TODAY: The Senate is voting on Senator Chris Van Hollen’s resolution requiring the State Department to report on the killing of nine Americans in the West Bank, violence by settlers and Israeli forces, and the detention and treatment of Palestinian children. If the administration fails to report within 30 days, certain U.S. security assistance to Israel would be cut off. We’re outside Van Hollen’s office thanking him for leading this effort. It’s time for the Senate to act.
