Daily Practice: We sometimes make excuses for war because we generalize about a group, an organization, a nation - and then create an enemy in our minds. Today when you catch yourself generalizing watch what happens when you pull it into the specific, into a person, into something you can relate to. When you focus on the specific, can you find the thing that drove the feeling of hate? Is the core of it fear because it is so undefined? What does this mindfulness inspire you to do differently today?
