“Possession: the never-ending war.” — John Trudell
Daily Practice: Wars are fought to serve the war economy. To gain possession of something. What acts can you do this long weekend to dispossess, divest and free yourself from what holds you connected to the war economy? Giving and sharing are part of the Peace Economy. There are so many who would appreciate what you have in your closets untouched for months, years or even in your storage units. At a Local Peace Economy meeting this week they pledged to clean it all out and give to the homeless projects and centers helping those who are coming out of criminal detention. Get together with the local peace economy you are growing and dispossess together. It is fun and liberating.
