IN SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINIAN RESISTANCE, ACTIVISTS ARE CURRENTLY BLOCKADING TRAVIS AND BEALE AIR FORCE BASES TO STOP WEAPONS TO ISRAEL THAT FACILITATE GAZA GENOCIDE
FAIRFIELD & MARYSVILLE, CA – Dozens of activists representing a diverse solidarity coalition from SF Bay Area to Sacramento and the Foothills are currently blocking all traffic into Travis AFB and Beale AFB simultaneously. They have occupied the lanes of traffic at the entrance gates at each base to demand an end of US military aid to Israel, and support of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The US and Israel’s actions are a textbook case of genocide and ethnic cleansing, and to refuse to take action against it is to be complicit in it.
In the last 156 days, Israel has killed over 40,000 Palestinians, and purposely starved hundreds of thousands more. There are currently tens of thousands buried in the rubble of what was once Gaza, while millions are being contained in the most densely populated concentration camp on Earth. This is the worst humanitarian disaster on Earth, and the colonial apparatus known as the United States government is aiding and abetting it.
We refuse to be complicit in this genocide, and we will do everything in our power to disrupt the institutions that are facilitating this genocide. In solidarity with the martyrs, and the resistance, we will continue to disrupt and disobey until complete and collective liberation.
