CODEPINK Ontario Joins Global Day of Action for Palestine on October 10
TORONTO – CODEPINK Ontario, in collaboration with the Palestinian Youth Movement and World Beyond War, will hold a March for Palestine on October 10 at Sankofa Square in Toronto. Toronto is one of many cities worldwide hosting solidarity actions coordinated by the Global Alliance for Palestine for the weekend of October 9–11, centered on a Global Day of Action on Saturday, October 10, to advocate for Palestinian rights and draw attention to the still-ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Organizers of the march aim to express solidarity with Palestinians while highlighting the continued genocide and ethnic cleansing they face, despite the "ceasefire."

The October 10 mobilization intends to place Israel's war crimes back in the media by synchronizing actions across continents and connecting grassroots movements, student protests, workplace actions, rallies, and civil disobedience.
This mobilization arrives at a critical time marked by political silence against the backdrop of three years of genocide. While public solidarity for Palestinian rights has reached historic levels globally since 2023, diplomatic inaction and the illusion of a ceasefire have allowed the catastrophic reality on the ground to persist unchecked.
