Next month will mark one year since Israel began its genocide in Gaza, yet the U.S. government continues to be a collaborator in Israel’s crimes against humanity. Just recently, Vice President Kamala Harris made it clear that she would not support an arms embargo on Israel – at the same time, the State Department notified Congress of a new $20 billion weapons sale to Israel. We anticipate a joint resolution of disapproval (JRD) will soon be introduced in the Senate. This is the only way to block this sale — and we must act fast!
👉 Tell the Senate: STOP the $20 Billion Weapons Sale to Israel!
Since U.S. politicians have failed to act in good conscience, it is our duty to prevent U.S. weapons from being sold to Israel to perpetuate more destruction and murder in Gaza, the West Bank, and beyond. This particular arms sale will equip Israel with more F-15 fighter jets. These very jets loom over children in Gaza, taunting them with the ever-present threat of death. We cannot sit idly by as our tax dollars are used to commit genocide on Palestinians against our will.
👉 Send a letter directly to your Senator demanding they stop arming genocide!
Israel murdered Medo Hamily, a 19-year-old who gained attention on social media broadcasting his life during the genocide, while he was on the beach in Gaza, a place he went for an escape. Israel murdered a little girl while she was rollerblading — the skates had to be removed from her lifeless body. Israel kills Palestinians as they wait for food and while they shelter in tents. Parents return home to their martyred newborns while picking up their birth certificates. The U.S. government is still proudly funneling weapons to fuel these atrocities — and they’re forcing us to foot the bill.
Even though it feels like the U.S. government will continue to send weapons to Israel no matter what we do, it's crucial we believe in our collective power. The repression of Palestinian advocacy across the globe is a testament to the impact we continue to make. Believing in ourselves is not merely a coping mechanism to sustain our movement– it is our responsibility to the people of Gaza. Resilience in the face of oppression will carry us to liberation.
👉 Flood your Senator’s Inbox: Demand They Block More Weapons to Israel!
Let’s show Congress that we will not back down! Our love for the people of Palestine is stronger than their repression. I promise you: we will relax on Gaza’s shore, the buzzing of Israeli drones will be replaced with our laughter, children will play without fear of being killed, and we’ll listen to beautiful music on liberated land. It’s up to us to never lose sight of that.
