Join us for Peace, Not War, with China: an evening of cultural exchange during the 6th Annual LA Peace Week! Each year of LA Peace Week, we highlight the culture(s) of a nation that the U.S. is ramping up war with to promote collective understanding and harmony.
Hear from CODEPINK China is Not Our Enemy campaign coordinator Madison Tang and CODEPINK San Pedro's Rachel Bruhnke about local efforts to promote peaceful trade, not war, between the U.S. and China. Tsukuru Fors of the Progressive Asian Network for Action and other speakers will also discuss current U.S.-China relations, Chinese culture and food, and other ways to promote peace with China. We welcome attendees to bring a Chinese-themed meal to enjoy communally and virtually with us!
