Inland Empire Holds Day of Remembrance in Solidarity with Palestine
Inland Empire, CA —— On Oct. 6, 2024, Inland Empire CODEPINK, Ontario United for Liberation, and Redlands 4 Palestine will host a Day of Remembrance, standing in solidarity with Palestine. The event marks one year since the beginning of what the coalition views as a genocide, highlighting the lack of action by the U.S. government.
As the coalition reflects on the past year, they emphasized the urgency of building a stronger, more unified community within the Inland Empire. "We are one year into a genocide. We have all watched the videos helplessly, and now the masks are off," said a spokesperson for the coalition. "In coalition, we want to build a stronger, more unified Inland Empire community to help one another fight all of our struggles. The Inland Empire stands in unity with Palestine."
The Day of Remembrance served as a call to action, urging local communities to unite against injustice and continue advocating for the rights and dignity of the Palestinian people.
