CODEPINK Inland Empire and Redlands4Palestine Host Community Day Event in Redlands

Redlands, CA -- CODEPINK Inland Empire and Redlands4Palestine are pleased to announce a Community Day event aimed at fostering and growing community within the Inland Empire, particularly in Redlands. The event will take place on September 8, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (PDT) at Sylvan Park, located at 601 N University St, Redlands, CA 92374.

Redlands is a key location for the Military Industrial Complex, and this event seeks to raise awareness among the local community about the importance of grassroots activism. The gathering provides a welcoming and relaxed environment for people of all ages, whether seasoned activists or those new to the cause, to connect and support one another in the spirit of community.

“In a time when local action is more crucial than ever, this event is an opportunity to strengthen our bonds and build a stronger, more connected community,” said Jazmin Mendez, a lead organizer with CODEPINK Inland Empire. “We hope to see a broad range of participants come together to share ideas, build relationships, and lay the groundwork for positive change.”

The event is designed to be family-friendly and inclusive, ensuring that everyone has a chance to participate. As this is a recurring event, it will continue to play a key role in fostering connections within both Redlands and the broader Inland Empire region.

Attendees are encouraged to take COVID-19 precautions, including wearing masks, as we navigate the current surge.
