CODEPINK Denver/Boulder Joins "Shut It Down For Palestine" Coalition In Marking "YEAR OF GENOCIDE, ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE" With October 5 Rally
Denver, CO — On October 5, CODEPINK Denver/Boulder will join the global "Shut it Down for Palestine" coalition to mark one year since the genocide in and Gaza and the intensification of violence against the Palestinian people, in what is being recognized as a "Year of Genocide, One Year of Resistance." day of action. This event will take place in Denver and calls for an end to the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Over the past year, Israel's escalation of violence has devastated the lives of Palestinians, but the world is responding. Millions of people worldwide have raised their voices in solidarity with Palestine, taking to the streets, organizing demonstrations, setting up protest encampments, and urging their elected officials to act.
CODEPINK Denver/Boulder stands in solidarity with this global movement. Local peace activists pledge to continue intensifying their efforts to end the genocide and raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
