What: Talk with Pat Elder on Military Recruitment and Contamination at U.S. Military Bases

Hear from Pat Elder, Author of Military recruiting in the United States (www.studentprivacy.org for a free download). He will discuss military recruiting and the contamination caused my U.S. military bases overseas. Stay afterwards for a non-violence resistance training.
What: An Evening with Matt Hoh: Marine Turned Activist

Former Marine and U.S. State Department official, turned Veteran For Peace Activist, Matthew Hoh will be at the Venezuelan Embassy Tuesday night to talk about what's at stake if Trump, Elliot Abrams, and John Bolton succeed with regime change and even going to war in Venezuela.
What: Solidarity Rally with Julian Assange

We will rally for Julian Assange at noon outside the Venezuelan embassy where we are protecting it from illegal takeover by opposition leader Juan Guaido. Make sure you wear pink!
What: Anniversary of Odessa Massacre Rally and Talk

This May 2, for the third year in a row, we will hold a vigil outside the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, D.C. and will deliver a letter addressed to the Ukrainian government with the relatives’ demands. We invite you to join us, from noon to 1 p.m. outside the embassy at 3350 M St. NW, Washington, D.C. 20007.Then at 2 pm, Phil Wilayto of the Odessa Solidarity Campaign will speak at the Venezuelan Embassy about the Odessa massacre and the situation in Ukraine. The address is 1099 30th St., NW Washington, DC in Georgetown.
What: An Evening with Peter Kuznick on how to Unf**ck the World

Peter Kuznick, professor at American University and co-author with Oliver Stone of "The Untold History of the United States" will speak about the current state of the world. This will be followed by a conversation about how you can join the movement to demilitarize and bring peace to our world
What: From Venezuela to Palestine: Solidarity Across Borders Panel
When: Monday, May 6 1:00PM-4:00PM

A panel of experts on Palestinian Rights will discuss the situation regarding human rights in Palestine, resisting imperialism, and solidarity between Palestine and Venezuela. Rev. Graylan Hagler, Phyllis Bennis, and others will speak.
