Solidarity Rally with Julian Assange

Julian Assange, an editor of WikiLeaks, was legally in the Ecuadorian embassy in London for nearly 7 years where he was given asylum. On April 11, 2019, Assange was arrested by order of President Lenin Moreno in the embassy and imprisoned where he is facing extradition to the United States. His first extradition hearing is scheduled for May 2.

We will rally for Julian Assange at noon outside the Venezuelan embassy where we are protecting it from illegal takeover by opposition leader Juan Guaido. The address is 1099 30th St, NW Washington, DC in Georgetown. The closest metro stop is Foggy Bottom.

Our demands:
1. Free Julian Assange
2. No extradition to the United States
3. Free Chelsea Manning
