DALLAS - CODEPINK Greater Dallas will co-host a free screening of the documentary "Earth's Greatest Enemy" on Thursday, August 27, at the Angelika Film Center and Café, 5321 E. Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75206. The event will run from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CST.
The evening will start at 5:00 p.m. with a reception, offering attendees the opportunity to engage with community members, access organizational and educational materials, and sign letters and petitions. Time permitting, attendees will have the opportunity to share questions and discuss updates on environmental concerns related to local military-industrial sites.
"Earth's Greatest Enemy," directed by journalist Abby Martin, examines the environmental impact of the U.S. military, highlighting its role as the world's largest institutional polluter. The film combines investigative journalism, striking visuals, and stories from affected communities to challenge audiences to reconsider the hidden costs of a global military presence and its planetary consequences.
