Peace Activist Who Was Told “Go Back to China” Continues Day 8 of Fast Outside Pelosi’s House, Demanding Ceasefire

San Francisco – Cynthia Papermaster, peace activist and member of CODEPINK Cynthia Papermaster will be continuing her fast outside 2640 Broadway, San Francisco, demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. She is currently on day 8 of a liquid fast consuming 200 calories or less per day as part of CODEPINK’s Fast for Gaza campaign.

Papermaster refuses to end her fast until Speaker Nancy Pelosi expresses support for a ceasefire.

When: Today, Jan. 30 from  11:30-3pm PT

Where: 2640 Broadway, San Francisco, CA

“I can't stand by when children are being murdered with my tax dollars, and I blame her for stubbornly supporting Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people and making us all complicit in this genocide. We are all suffering a collective trauma that she is responsible for,”  sand Papermaster.

“We have tried to reach her. The Pope has tried. Her response is to accuse us of being Russian agents,” she continued.

For media inquiries or interview requests, you can contact Melissa at [email protected] or Call Cynthia Papermaster directly at 510-365-1500.
