CODEPINK Chicago, USPCN, Palestinian Feminist Collective and More Unite for International Women's Day Events in Chicago
Chicago, IL - As the world commemorates International Women's Day, CODEPINK Chicago proudly announces its collaboration with the Palestinian Feminist Collective for a series of actions to advocate for reproductive justice and Palestinian liberation.
We invite the public and press members to an International Working Women's Day Vigil for Palestine on Friday, March 8, hosted by various collectives who support Palestine in Chicago in collaboration with the Palestinian Feminist Collective. The vigil pays homage to the working-class origins of International Women's Day while reaffirming its commitment to the struggle for Palestinian liberation. Refreshments, including light Palestinian cuisine, will be available.

On Sunday, March 10, a march and rally will take place in honor of International Women's Day, amplifying demands for the federal government to address crucial issues affecting marginalized communities domestically and internationally. Specifically, the event will highlight the urgent need for an immediate and permanent ceasefire to restore reproductive rights destroyed by Israel's genocidal campaign in Gaza.
CODEPINK's Palestine campaign organizer, Nour Jaghama, is among the speakers who will address the intersections of reproductive justice and an end to the genocide in Gaza.
