Trump's unsustainable budget means...

54Billion3.jpg

President Trump just released his budget proposal to pour $54 billion more into the Pentagon at the expense of nearly every federal agency. Titled "America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make America Great Again," the budget would make America anything but great. To pay for a $54 billion increase to the military, Trumps wants massive cuts to the EPA, Department of Education, United Nations, housing, Department of Health and Human Services, and more.

Tell Congress not to approve Trump’s 10% increase in military spending. We need more schools, and textbooks, not more missiles and warships.

In his proposed 28% cut to the US State Department, Trump wants to eliminate the Global Climate Change Initiative. But he specifies that $3.1 billion will continue to be spent assisting Israel with its military occupation of Palestinian land.

Sign the petition to tell Congress not to approve Trump’s $54B for warand then post the image at the top of this page to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The budget proposal allocates $4.5 billion for border and immigration enhancement, but will entirely eliminate funding for the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the United State Interagency Council on Homelessness, and the United States Institute of Peace! Instead of making us safer, we will all be hurt by these cuts. Congress must say No!
