Last week, we watched a U.S.-made tomahawk missile murder 168 school children. We watched in horror, helpless to stop the incoming massacres as the U.S. and Israel carpet-bombed Iran, then Lebanon, displacing hundreds of thousands of people from their homes. Even now, we continue to watch the pure, unrelenting terror unfold. We are shocked and devastated, but we are also enraged… Because for every bomb the U.S. and Israel drops, a bunch of men in tailored suits and cushy offices profit off all the death.Â
There is an urgent need to address the burgeoning war profiteers that are leading the world headfirst into AI-weaponry and planetary destruction. War does not end in Venezuela or Iran. It will continue until all avenues are exhausted, until there are no resources left to plunder because they have destroyed everything.Â
I call your attention to Peter Thiel, the founder of military tech company Palantir, who just last week visited with Japan’s Prime Minister, and was dubbed “America’s Shadow President” across Japanese media. I call your attention to Palmer Luckey, the self-proclaimed “radical Zionist” and founder of Anduril, a military tech company who supplies the U.S. military with AI and autonomous weapons. Just last week he met with ten Israeli military startups to discuss open collaboration.Â
Palmer Luckey has urgently advocated for countering Russia, China, and Iran, even going so far as to actively prepare for a “simultaneous conflict” by developing advanced, rapid-production military systems. He’s a big fan of war on China especially, and instated a “China 27” strategy, saying that Anduril won’t produce any new weapons that won’t be ready by 2027—the date the War Department set on war with China.Â

Last year, Anduril secured a $99 million U.S. Air Force contract for autonomous software, and a 10-year $642 million Marine Corps contract for counter-drone systems. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth visited Anduril’s headquarters, proclaiming, “We are rebuilding the Arsenal of Freedom.”
Anduril, now valued at nearly $31 billion, was named after the Lord of the Rings sword, “Flame of the West”, a disgusting yet fitting title for a tool of the imperial west’s perpetual exploitation and murder of innocents abroad. The company is also responsible for the “border protection system” of lasers and identification software inspired by Trump’s dream for a border wall, and have released new wearable headsets that Luckey claims “turns soldiers into superheroes.” Â
Luckey is doing what White House is also doing: treating the murder of innocent people as if it’s a game, and every kill gets him more coin. It’s the same energy as this White House tweet, comparing the bombing of Iran to a Wii sports game.Â
What does Luckey do with his murdering-derived fortune other than partake in a group chat titled “B-boys club” (B as in billionaire)... Well, he fills his other properties with his extensive car collection, of course.Â

More war means more money for the war profiteers. So it’s really no surprise Luckey is set on war with China, which would make him billions. While the U.S. invests trillions of dollars into preparing for war on China ($3.4 trillion to be exact, which is more than spent on 20 years of war in Afghanistan), China invests all its funds in public infrastructure, renewable energy, and life-improving programs. Just a short visit will show you that.Â
The reality is, war drives U.S. technological advancement. We could be using advanced tech to improve public infrastructure, to build high speed railways like in China, or even to use as entertainment. But instead, we are fashioning headsets for soldiers and sending them into battle to kill. Instead, we are making autonomous robot drones that will pick their targets according to some data set, rather than valuing the meaning of human life.
This is the difference, and it's time to get real. China is not the enemy of the United States: our enemies are internal, within the system and reaffirming the system of global imperialist exploitation. Our enemies are the war profiteers, the ruling class, the “B-boys club” members and military tech founders. Not China. China has not been to war in nearly five decades, and has no desire to change that. It is the United States that pushes war on China, all for profit. And it is always the people who suffer. Even now we suffer as all our tax dollars are funneled into new contracts with companies like Anduril instead of supporting the health and wellbeing of the American people. And so overseas, children are murdered, so guys like Palmer Luckey can add to their rare car collections.
Instead of pointing at fake enemies overseas, we must confront all the war profiteers in the United States driving us into more war. Their power rests solely on one thing: convincing us that they are the good guys, and that the innocent people in Iran, Lebanon, Venezuela, China, and elsewhere are bad, and deserving of death. So let’s write to Palmer Luckey to ensure he knows that we will never let him get away with profiting from murder.
