Join CODEPINK Bay Area and CODEPINK Sonoma County at this event! Bay Area anti-imperialist groups are joining together with Brass Liberation Orchestra to fly kites and raise money for Gaza Soup Kitchen. We'll also make a human banner in the shape of a kite decorated with Palestinian flags. We will turn an act of joy into a message of solidarity with real material help. As we fly kites for children in Palestine who are denied the freedom to fly them, these vital funds will help support families in Gaza — providing nourishing meals and funds for education. Bring a kite, borrow one of ours, or make one at the event, on a "donate what you can" basis: $5-50 recommended donation. We promise, this is the most meaningful fun you will have. Come share hope, community, awareness and show the kids in Palestine some love.
