The origination of Mother’said Day! End war! Too many mothers all over the world have lost the sons and daughters they once knew as a result of war. Dead, maimed, emotionally broken, addicted to substances. Lost or gone forever…. 💔

Of all the mothers on this earth we American mothers must fight our war crazy government which is at war in at least 7 countries and is planning 2 more. We send our planes and armed drones without a word of the news to our own citizens. We threaten nations daily. Over a thousand military bases around the planet with endless dollars, over a TRILLION per year now, a sum so gargantuan they must search for ways to use it up. The easiest of course is blowing up the bombs, missiles, machinery, trucks and equipment by creating more and endless wars. The press conveniently conspires to block almost all news of our military actions. Take it off the front page, the middle page and finally there is no mention at all. Not a mention of the deaths and destruction on the popular news stations and talk shows, and even the candidates in the past four or more elections. The few that mention that our policy is starving, and destroying communities, cultures, food, lives and joy show millions of refugees, They report giving no reason, maybe climate change but NEVER the word war which has burned, polluted, starved, maimed and killed. Mothers Day I will call, write shout, mostly remind people that we are at war, have been at war for a generation and our government does not plan to stop unless we stop them. Make it loud and clear an issue in this election.

Very wise words for peace spoken here for Mother’s Day. These words are also thought by many fathers and sisters, and brothers, cousins, aunts, and uncles, grand parents and others. We are all of the same human family and we need to be peaceful if we are to find a sustainable future.
