Palms Unhoused Mutual Aid (PUMA) is an abolitionist network of care focused on building community with our unhoused neighbors. They organize weekly distrobution events, provide outreach for their community, advance coalition building across other groups, participate in sweep defense, harm reduction, political education, and advocacy.

Ndindi Kitonga is a Kenyan educator and long-time community organizer who writes on Black anti-colonial movements; she is the founder of Angeles Workshop School, a revolutionary secondary micro-school in Los Angeles. She is also the founder of Palms Unhoused Mutual Aid (PUMA), an abolitionist housing justice network of care. Palms Unhoused Mutual Aid (PUMA) has grown over the past six years from a small collective where organizers share food, hygiene, harm reduction, and other supplies with their unhoused neighbors, to one where members are organizing popular education clinics, coalition-building, and political mobilization.
Sabrina An was born in Koreatown, Los Angeles, and is now a community organizer in West LA with Palms Unhoused Mutual Aid (PUMA). She has spent basically her entire life in LA County and these radical, abolitionist networks of care are her favorite parts of living in this beautiful city.
