Protest US Ties to Saudi Arabia

When: Tuesday, May 3rd from 4:30-5:30pm
Where: Saudi Embassy - 2045 Sawtelle Blvd, Los Angeles
What to expect: More and more Americans are questioning why Saudi Arabia—a country that spreads extremism and is so repressive internally—continues to be a U.S. ally. Bring signs and banners! This will be an ongoing Tuesday demonstration until the three Saudi youth facing execution for their political protest are released. RSVP here:

Clean Up Democracy, Clean Out Money in Politics - Hillary Clinton in Los Angeles
When: Thursday, May 5th, early afternoon. Time to be announced
Where: Downtown Los Angeles. Exact location details to come. 
What to expect: Hillary has furthered the influence of money in politics in her campaign, taking money from weapons manufacturers, fossil fuel lobbyists, and wall street firms who threaten the foundation of our democracy and the future of this country. Join us to call out Hillary for her ties to money in politics -- we will be dressed in cleaning gear, complete with mops and brooms and aprons! West Hollywood’s Women Leadership Conference
When: May 6-7th, all day
Where: West Hollywood City Council Chambers
What to expect: This two-day conference will inspire, connect, and elevate you as a leader. Join us for workshops, discussion, and a look at the greater community around women’s issues in Los Angeles. CODEPINK is proud to co-sponsor and table at this event. LA Climate March - Break Free from Fossil Fuels
When: Saturday, May 14th at 1pm, meet at 12:30pm
Where: Downtown Los Angeles, City Hall, 200 N. Spring Street
What to expect: We know that war is not green, and our fight to end wars and militarism is directly tied to the exploitation of earth's resources in pursuit of financial gain. Join the CODEPINK contingent as we march in solidarity and demand fossil fuels stay in the ground!

Activist Support Circle
When: Monday, May 16th at 7pm
Where: UnUrban Cafe, 3301 Pico Blvd. in Santa Monica
What to expect: CODEPINK Co-Founder Jodie Evans will lead a discussion on CODEPINK’s latest work around Saudi Arabia and building local peace economies. This event is no charge, with free parking at adjacent U.S. Bank parking area.
