Noon to 2 come to the CODEPINK House to costume up, pick up some of the 5400 pussy hats to distribute, pick up stickers and flyers and visuals.  1241 Evarts St NE, WDC 20018

pm Protest Trump’s Make America Great Again Welcome Concert. FridayJanuary 20 - 

7:00 am Meet at the Eastern side of the Christopher Columbus statue right outside of Union Station. We will do the One Billion Rising flash mob dance in Union Station at 7:30 am. Ariel (510) 599-5330

8:00 am we will join the Future is Feminist contingent of J20 at 10th and E Street. Ariel (510) 599-5330

12:00 pm from the Future of Feminist rally we will join the Festival of Resistance March from Columbus Circle (in front of Union Station) to McPherson Square, and station ourselves along the inauguration parade route and some will join the Answer Rally at Freedom Plaza; Medea, Ariel & Paki scheduled to speak. 4:00 pm We will be outside the official Balls in front of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center Saturday. This is weather contingent. If it is raining, a text message may be sent out to announce that it is canceled.

5:30-7:30 pm Event at Busboys and Poets 5th Street and K Street: Poetry of Rising & Resistance Featuring: Eve Ensler (One Billion Rising/VDay), Kimberle Crenshaw, Hollis & more 

Saturday, January 21 - 

8:30 am Women’s March on Washington Meet at 200 Independence Ave southeast corner of 3rd and Independence) on the steps of the Hubert H. Humphrey Building. We will distribute pink pussy hats as we march. Dress in lots of pink! The Rally begins at 10:00 am. Followed by the march.

We are planning a CODEPINK get together to meet each other and talk about how we Rise, Love, Resist. Time and location TBA. Throughout the inauguration activities, we will be sending out text message reminders about where we are going to be and if there are any changes

What to Bring: Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes. Bring an extra battery charging pack for your phone if you have one, fingerless gloves for social media, and an umbrella or rain poncho. Bring lots of pink! 

Create a sheet of phone numbers to print out and bring with you in case you are without your phone. Put ALL of our phone numbers on that sheet.
