DC June 1:Protest at the Saudi Arabia Military Attache!

Protest with CODEPINK at the Saudi Arabia Military Attache!

On June 1st, directly after the Lush action in Georgetown, we will be walking to the Saudi Arabia military attache building in Georgetown to condemn their human rights violations against the Yemeni people. The Saudi war on Yemen has created, according to the UN Secretary General, the worst humanitarian crisis in the world right now, pushing close to 7 million Yemenis to the brink of starvation. Since 2015 some 85,000 children under the age of five have died from acute malnutrition as a result of the war. Saudi bombing campaigns have targeted hospitals, marketplaces, and residences, and just last weekend a Saudi-led airstrike killed 12 civilians, including 7 children. Join us as we stand up against Saudi’s military presence in the U.S.
