We are breaking the blockade on Cuba by air, by sea and by land! Over the past two months the U.S. government has seized tankers with oil shipments for Cuba, declared Cuba an “unusual and extraordinary threat,” threatened to use force against Cuba, lied about engaging in dialogue with Cuba, and threatened economic warfare on any country that ships oil to Cuba. They’ve done this under the slogan of “No Oil, No Travel, No Oxygen.” The U.S. is committing a crime against humanity by trying to starve the Cuban people of fuel—necessary for everything from keeping factories running, to producing food, ensuring quality healthcare and providing education.
What happens next:
-
You’ll receive follow-up information in the coming days outlining the many ways to stand in solidarity with the Cuban people. Review the options and choose the role that fits you best.
-
You’ll be connected with other participants and receive updates as the convergence approaches.
-
We’ll also share concrete ways to support the effort, from outreach and media to fundraising, aid collection, and participation in delegations and coordinated actions.
How do we break this blockade? Through material aid.
You can join the CODEPINK delegation (March 20–24), traveling together with others in partnership with Proximity Cuba, or gather your own circle of friends, colleagues, or community members and make the journey in your own way. However you arrive, we invite you to carry a suitcase filled with care, essential food, medicines, and simple energy supplies, and we will guide you step by step.

A coalition of organizations is preparing a humanitarian flotilla to sail in solidarity and challenge isolation through peaceful presence and aid delivery. If you are interested in traveling by boat or supporting flotilla logistics, sign up for updates and coordination details. Join others who are choosing to cross waters in solidarity and help carry this shared effort forward.

Support the convergence by organizing local collection drives and coordinated land routes for humanitarian supplies. Gather essential food, medicines, and energy items in your community and help move them toward shipment.
Stay tuned for updates, packing guidance, and coordination details to take part in this shared solidarity effort.
