This week, we are focusing on demanding the release of Leqaa Kordia, a Palestinian student organizer being unjustly held!
Last March, Leqaa Kordia, was unlawfully detained by ICE for her participation in anti-genocide protests near Columbia University. This is a deeply personal struggle for Kordia; Israel has killed nearly 200 members of her family in its genocidal war on Gaza.
Despite the significant deterioration of her health over the past 11 months in custody, including a recent hospitalization, ICE has continued to hold Leqaa in a Texas detention facility 1,500 miles away from her family.
