Converge on the US/Mexico Border with us!

Join the CODEPINK contingent in Nogales, Arizona for the SOA Watch bi-national convergence to demand a shift in U.S. foreign policy away from militarism and mass incarceration of migrants!

The two main goals of the trip are to highlight U.S. intervention in Latin America as one of the root causes of migration, and to stage protests, cultural events, and nonviolent direct action against racism, xenophobia and US militarization at home and abroad. A large turnout can help pressure the next president to push for diplomacy and step away from militarization in Latin America! From resisting militarization to ending migrant incarceration and supporting refugees, we hope to challenge the status quo of violence that has spread all around the Americas.

Check out the SOA Watch website for information about lodging, tentative schedule, and travel! Please make your travel arrangements as soon as possible. This will be quite a large gathering, and accommodations are filling up fast. After you’ve made your arrangements, let us know you’re joining us by emailing alice@codepink.orgOnce we have your commitment for this event we will connect you with other activists for pink gatherings and actions if you wish to become more involved.
