Join me for the
National Moral Revival Poor People's Campaign Teach-In
December 31, 11:00 am – 3:00 PM
National City Christian Church, 5 Thomas Circle, Washington, DC
The Teach-In comes at a time when many are trying to figure out what people who love justice should be doing. A first step is giving people information and a place to come together for discussion. The Teach-In sessions will do these things and more!
- The day opens at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. William Barber II, Repairers of the Breach discussing This Moral Moment, A Moral Movement.
- The Teach-In includes Poverty, Economic Inequality and Race, Music and Social Justice Movements, Voting Rights, Health Care, Ecological Devastation and Climate Change, and Immigration.
- Jonathan Hutto of Veterans for Peace and I will talk about the Cost of War.
- This event is followed by a night watch service at 10:00 pm at the Metropolitan A.M.E. Church, 1518 M Street, NW.
Join us to launch the Poor People’s Campaign and start the new year with a vision and hearts on fire.

Jodie
