Join CODEPINK and Greenville activists for an action urging the Gran Fondo Hincapie to cancel sponsorship by Israel's largest weapons company, Elbit Systems. Elbit's subsidiary, Everysight, will be in Greenville this weekend promoting their cycling glasses to participants in the 2018 Gran Fondo Hincapie bike race. These glasses made by Everysight are owned by Elbit and use the same technology that Elbit provides for fighter jets that bomb Gaza. Elbit also provides surveillance technology for Israel’s apartheid wall and the U.S.-Mexico border.
On Friday morning, local Palestinian and solidarity activists will be delivering a petition signed by 2500 justice activists from around the world calling on George Hincapie and the Gran Fondo race to take a stand for Palestinian human rights and end their relationship with Everysight and Elbit.
