For International Day of Peace, CODEPINK and allies are saying we've had enough of the War Economy and forever wars, brought to you by the Pentagon, Lockheed-Martin, Chevron, BlackRock Worldwide Investments, and funded by Congress, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. War is Killing the Planet and it has to stop!
Our Demands for Pelosi:
- Instead of writing checks for more war, Declare a Climate Emergency!
- Cut the Pentagon budget!
- Pass Medicare for All!
- Eliminate student debt!
- Increase the minimum wage to $15/hr.
- Release children incarcerated by ICE now!
Money raised from the Bake Sale will be donated to help resettle Afghan women.
