Washington DC: 24/7 PROTECTION OF DC VENEZUELAN EMBASSY

Event Description

Washington, DC – Activists opposed to the Venezuelan opposition takeover of diplomatic buildings belonging to the elected Venezuelan government have been staging a 24/7 vigil to protect the Venezuelan Embassy that lies in the heart of Georgetown in Washington DC.

We have been holding safe the Venezuelan Embassy for 2 weeks now.  The embassy is full of so much love and resistance that we will keep the hateful, violent Guaido forces out. There are things for people of all ages to do! #ColectivosPorLaPaz

We need more activists who care about the future of resistance in the world to join with us.  Email Lily@codepink.org to let her know when you can come or just come on by. Onward to Peace!

If anyone has an issue with medicine in Venezuela or lack of other financial issues, perhaps you should write your Congressperson to have the illegal sanctions lifted.

Don’t bother too much Francesca, they are only a very minor “organization” with very few “followers”. Don’t you see non of them have jobs or do anything productive?
The only good thing I can take from this is the small support pink code has. Non of them are Venezuelan or even know where Venezuela is located. So their opinion is non important. Don’t pay too much attention to them. They are nothing and will cease to exist being nothing.
    They suffer of social resentment.

    Francesca,
I believe you are lying because your brothers are free to leave if they want to. They can buy food because there is plenty. If there are medicine shortages, it is because of the U.S. embargo which you support. And the only Venezuelans who cannot go back to their homes are ones who have committed treason against their country. We have been to Venezuela and know you are lying.
