Join millions of Americans already downloading RedNote ahead of the Tiktok ban and connecting with local Chinese people.
Let's work together for peace through the people! Friends not enemies!
What is RedNote?
RedNote is a popular Chinese social media app similar to Tiktok. Many Americans have made the switch to RedNote due to the incoming Tiktok ban. This has triggered a surge of lighthearted interactions between Chinese and American citizens, negating years of anti-China propaganda.
How to Download RedNote
RedNote is available for download for both iPhone and Android users. The name is in Chinese, not English. It will look like this:
Create Your RedNote Account
1. Agree to the welcome message.
When you first open the app, a welcome message in Chinese will pop up, followed by the privacy policy. Press the red button to agree.
2. Log in.
Click the button agreeing to the terms and conditions before clicking on the 'Login' button.
3. Use your phone number to create an account.
You will receive a verification code to your number before you can move forward.
4. Answer the questions.
The app will ask your age, gender, and your general interests to help begin composing your explore page.
5. Explore, connect, and have fun!
You'll find right off the bat that there are many "Tiktok refugees" and Chinese citizens widely using the app. Start building your explore page by liking videos you enjoy. Don't forget to set up your profile and start posting!

They banned Tiktok only to funnel burgericans into RedNote, a fully Chinese app.
There isn't even a translation feature, many of the UI are still in Chinese.
