Rally & March on the 12th Anniversary of the U.S. Invasion of Iraq
March 19, 2015
Dear Katie,
Join CODEPINK Bay Area for the End Endless War Rally & March on the 12th Anniversary of the U.S. Invasion of Iraq! East Bay CODEPINK coordinator Eleanor Levine and CODEPINK blogger Bobbie Raymond will perform a short street theatre piece.
>When: Saturday, March 21, noon
>Where: Powell & Market, San Francisco (Powell BART)
This march is in solidarity with the “Spring Rising” protest at the White House, and other actions all over the country on the same day. We gather to say NO to Obama’s proposed new 3-year AUMF – Authorization for Use of Military Force - with NO geographical limitations! Wear pink, bring a friend, raise your voice! The world is our home, not a battlefield.
*****
Come hear Nancy Mancias of CODEPINK's "War Criminals Watch," attorney Inder Kumar, and Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, author of "An Indigenous People's History of the United States" as they discuss the history of torture and war crimes by the U.S., and efforts to hold our government and its officials accountable.
>When: Monday, March 23, 5 PM
>Where: Sonoma State University, Ballroom A of the Student Center, Rohnert Park. Visitors can find parking info here. Free and open to the public.
