"So immersed in scarcity are we that we take it to be the nature of reality. But in fact, we live in a world of abundance." - Charles Eisenstein
Daily Practice (guest offering by Charles Eisenstein): Today witness where you feel scarcity. Is it of time? Money? Love? Be present to any feeling of deprivation around that, any feeling of "It's not fair," however irrational. What action calls to you, but is blocked by the mantra, "I cannot afford to?" The war economy is built on, "Let's make sure I have enough for me." It is an economy of scarcity and therefore of control. The peace economy is built on; "I'll be fine. It's safe to be generous. I care about you."
