China Is Not Our Enemy with Rob Kajiwara

As we continue to dismantle the anti-China rhetoric led by the US, we are excited to find more partners in peace. On this episode of China Is Not Our Enemy, Jodie Evans, will be joined by Rob Kajiwara, founder of Peace for Okinawa Coalition 琉球和平联盟. The relations between China and the Okinawa are peaceful and cooperative. Rob will be illustrating this relationship with facts and personal anecdotes through his work.

Robert Kajiwara is Native Ryukyuan (Okinawan) and president of the Peace For Okinawa Coalition. He is a regular speaker at the United Nations and other venues advocating for Indigenous rights and self-determination, and has appeared in numerous media publications such as the Associated PressBBC Worldthe People's Daily, and South China Morning Post, among others. Kajiwara's petition to stop the illegal construction of the new military base at Henoko, Okinawa has over 212,000 signatures on it. His Ph.D. dissertation at Manchester Metropolitan University is on historical Ryukyu - China relations.

Recently, she has been continuously collaborating with peace activists from across the world in uplifting that China Is Not Our Enemy.
