As the situation in Gaza grows ever more dire, damning new evidence about Canada’s arms exports to Israel has been uncovered. A groundbreaking new report has just been released by the Arms Embargo Now! coalition, definitively proving that – despite government claims to the contrary – Canada never stopped exporting weapons to Israel. A significant legal loophole exempts most U.S.-bound military goods from requiring permits, which allows billions of dollars of weapons components to enter the U.S. with zero government tracking. This report includes indisputable new evidence of the ongoing flow of Canadian-made weapons and military components – built in factories across this country, shipped inconspicuously to U.S. military manufacturers, and used to make the F-35 fighter jets, drones, and bombs that are massacring Palestinians.
Since Israel’s assault on Gaza began, nearly two million Palestinians have been subjected to deliberate starvation, constant bombardment, forced displacement, and widespread killing. Canada, as a signatory to the Geneva Conventions and Arms Trade Treaty, is legally obligated to prevent genocide, not enable it. But while Liberal Ministers stood in Parliament claiming Canada had paused arms exports to Israel, nearly half a million Canadian bullets were shipped to Israeli weapons manufacturers.
Key Findings from the November 2025 Report:
- 34 shipments of military aircraft components sent by American Lockheed factories to the Israeli Ministry of Defense, the Israeli Air Force Base, and Israeli weapons manufacturers between April 2024 and August 2025 – immediately after receiving hundreds of matching shipments from Canadian manufacturers.
- 360 additional aircraft part shipments from Canadian manufacturers to Lockheed Martin's F-35 assembly facility in Fort Worth, Texas, between September 29, 2023, and August 5, 2025, the same F-35 jets that Israel has been using to bombard Gaza.
- 150 shipments of Canadian explosives and flammable materials from General Dynamics facilities in Valleyfield and Repentigny, Quebec, to the U.S. Army Ammunition Plants that manufacture 2000-pound MK-84 bombs, 155mm artillery shells, and 120mm tank rounds for export to Israel.
- 433 shipments of TNT manufactured in Poland and routed through Port Saguenay, Quebec, between October 2023 and November 2025. Shipments were then transported by truck on Canadian and American highways to U.S. Army Ammunition Plants, which use the TNT to produce the 2000-pound MK-84 and I-2000 Penetrator bombs that Israel drops on Gaza.
This is utterly shameful—government officials have systematically deceived Canadians about our government’s direct complicity in what most scholars and organizations agree is a genocide.
