The action is called "The Resurrection Of Care," to contrast with the secretive "Cremation of Care" ceremony that takes at the exclusive Bohemian Grove retreat. The oligarchs at the Grove burn up their cares while we want our cares taken care of.
We plan to have speakers, music, street theater, a ritual to Resurrect Care and will be honoring Mary Moore, who is 90!, the spearhead of the Bohemian Grove actions.
The plans are forming, and could include a ritual to Resurrect Care, a kayak flotilla, a skit with audience participation, a community picnic by the River in Monte Rio after the action and more. There is a gallery showing the evening 3 pm to 7pm in Monte Rio at the Hoot Owl Gallery, of art and materials from the past Boho Grove Actions, curated to honor local activist Mary Moore (the spearhead of Boho Grove Action Network).
