Join CODEPINK this summer for our Northern California Peace Camp! A gathering to stop the $1.5 TRILLION Hegseth/Trump war budget before the Senate NDAA vote this Fall. We’ll come together August 1st - 3rd for speakers, workshops, delicious meals, music, dancing, an art build, and an optional trip to the ocean.
Sessions will cover the NDAA, Palestine, Cuba, General Dynamics’ local weapons production, and using tech like Instagram for organizing. On August 3, we hope to meet with Congress members Jared Huffman and Mike Thompson to demand they cut Pentagon spending and vote against the NDAA—especially provisions that merge U.S. and Israeli militaries.
This camp is for everyone ready to trade the war economy for a peace economy. Military spending drains resources from healthcare, housing, education, clean energy, child care, and student debt relief, while fueling endless war, occupation, and genocide. Together we’ll build a concrete plan to make our Senators reject this devastating budget and invest in human and planetary needs instead. Come get to know your CODEPINK comrades!
