While claiming to champion diversity and global scholarship, the University of Michigan has allowed Chinese scholars to be hunted on its own campus. Dr. Chengxuan Han was jailed for mailing research samples. Dr. Yunqing Jian was smeared and deported, with severe repercussion for her career. And now three more Chinese students have been seized by ICE as they attempted to fly home. This webinar confronts the university’s role in these injustices and calls on our community to fight back against this wave of anti-China repression.
