Trump & the Resistance Movement

Event Description

Is it effective? Is it sustainable? What is our goal?

Where: Busboys and Poets (14th and V)

From rebelling in government offices to repelling from cranes outside the White House, from occupying airports to objecting in courtrooms, from standing up in Town Hall meetings to sitting down in corporate suites, the resistance is everywhere. We’ll hear from members of the “leader-full” resistance movement and try to answer critical questions: Is the movement effective? Is it sustainable? What exactly are we resisting against and fighting for? What is our goal?

Join us as we reflect, evaluate and recalibrate for the struggles ahead. Sponsored by Busboys and Poets, CODEPINK and the Institute for Policy Studies
