The event is sponsored by ICUJP, Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace. This is a Zoom event as part of the Cold War Truth Commission book and project to expose the U.S. lies of its historic and current relentless, criminal Cold War against the Left, both at home and abroad.
Testimonies from the book relating to the U.S. Cold War's attack on the religious left will be highlighted, and a video shown of the beloved Reverend Lucius Walker, founder of Pastors for Peace. Additionally, the Testimony of Prof. Peter McLaren on "The U.S. Cold War's Attack on Liberation Theology" will be shared, as will Testimony from Anti-Racist Action's Michael Novick and ICUJP's Carolfrances Likens. As the CWTC is a project of ACTION, attendees will discuss the urgent role of the religious left to help us transcend these violent, unjust and unsustainable times.
