Join Codepink San Pedro and San Pedro Neighbors for Peace and Justice as we partner with the faith community in a Posada Procession to support the BDS Movement to stop Israeli apartheid and genocide against the Palestinian people. Our Posada, led by clergy and activists, will rally along Western Avenue in San Pedro. It will be during a high shopping time, to call out several corporations that do business in Israel.
Meet at the McDonald's shopping parking lot promptly at 2:30. Beginning in front of the McDonalds at Western/Crestwood Ave, the Posada will continue along Western to the In-N-Out and Starbucks at Western/Capitol, to Trader Joe's and Keller Williams at Western/Caddington Dr...The Posada will return to the McDonalds for a short Candlelight Vigil in support of CEASEFIRE and EMERGENCY AID for GAZA.
The Posada Procession will be about 3/4 mile in total, along a busy shopping corridor. Please bring appropriate shoes and be CAREFUL when crossing the streets, etc. As always, bring signs and wear pink!
