Come join CODEPINK Sonoma County for a sweet Mother's Day gathering to honor mothers/fathers/caregivers everywhere! At our "Pies for Peace" gathering, we'll get acquainted, read the beautiful Mother's Day proclamation about the anti-war origins of Mother's Day, sing peace songs, and organize some "good pink trouble", followed by a joyful pink stroll in downtown Sebastopol.
There will be a free bag of pink items for everyone! Come with your creative ideas, good dogs, children and grandchildren, and (very optional) your favorite pie to share. I'm baking pies and bringing Luck-Key, my pup for peace.
After the picnic we'll take a stroll down Main Street in pink to acquaint folks with CODEPINK and show that we're actively working for peace and justice in Sonoma County.
