To the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv,
We call on you to pressure the State of Israel to guarantee basic human rights and dignity to Palestinian prisoners. Since April 17, 2017, over 1,500 Palestinian prisoners have been engaging in a hunger strike for proper medical care, family visits, an end to the use of isolation, and an end to administrative detention where prisoners are held without charge or trial. Palestinian prison strikers are putting their bodies and lives on the line for their freedom and dignity. Their call for human rights must be recognized and addressed.
