Filipinos for Palestine: Printmaking

Filipinos for Palestine (F4P) is a network of U.S.-based Filipinos in solidarity for a free Palestine. We lend our voices to the growing global chorus: From Palestine to the Philippines, Stop the U.S. War Machine! Whether you're already involved in the Filipino and Palestinian liberation struggles or simply looking to learn more, we invite all community members to join us for a family-friendly printmaking event.

Story time and kids’ open studio (families with children ages 0-12): To explore the connections between Palestine and the Philippines, we’ll read aloud stories by Palestinian and Filipino authors, sing songs, learn chants, and make art to take to the streets! Art activities will include silkscreen and block printing, zine-making, and coloring posters. We’ll provide materials, but you're welcome to bring your own tote bags or t-shirts!

Teach-in and open studio (all ages): We'll provide a teach-in session for folks of all ages that covers the Palestinian and Filipino liberation struggles. And we'll keep the rest of the space open for others who'd like to create more art.
