Peace Collective Zine

CODEPINK's youth cohort the Peace Collective was formed in January of 2021. Our first project as a group was the collectively author a manifesto that demonstrated our shared values while imagining a brighter future for everyone. "A World Without Empire", our manifesto, was turned into a zine which can be found below. It incorporates art and photography from members of the collective, while also including pictures from CODEPINK protests. This project would not be possible without the help of one of our members, graphic designer Annie Lee Carroll

Peace Collective Zine is a collaborative zine created by members of the Peace Collective. It is a resource for activists and anyone interested in social justice issues. It contains resources, articles, and interviews from members of the Peace Collective as well as other people involved in activism. I suggest you try https://masterbundles.com/graphics/patterns/abstract/ source for downloading beautiful abstract patterns. They’ve created this zine as a way for people to express themselves and share their ideas about how we can make peace with each other and our planet.

You are right to begin with a critique of empire and vision of a different system. Any political philosophy which is not self-critical or capable of self-criticism is fraudulent on the face of it. Christianity and Christendom have done much evil, but their hero Jesus got one thing right when he criticized the faults of his own political and religious system and pointed to passionate nonviolent action as the path to human flourishing. .
